Tonight was the big "Mirror Lake Night" that took place on the lake in the student quad (right next to all the dormitories). Students from all different grad school programs at Peking Universiry performed. Students and faculty filled the quad and balconies to get a view of the very elaborate (over-the-top) stage! Carts lined the quad selling baked potatoes and cotton candy. It was a fun way to kick off the holiday season. However, it was COLD standing outside! It has dropped to 60 degrees and I am FREEZING. Not sure how I am going to deal with Connecticut weather, eek.
