This evening from 7:30 to 9, international students interested in learning Chinese calligraphy had a chance to give it a go! I loved it! Chinese students at PKU business and law schools ran the class and circulated the room to help all of us master each brush stroke. After we had sufficient practice, we ended the night by writing the single character "fu", which means "good fortune, happiness, luck" on our special fancy red paper they provided. It will be a birthday present for my mother :)
