I think I have been having more fun than my students celebrating Dr. Seuss week! I was up for a while last night making green eggs for my students to try during our morning read aloud this morning (we read the story "Green Eggs and Ham"). My students absolutely loved getting to eat green eggs and ham. Some of them have even asked their parents to pack them green eggs for lunch...ew.
We also made "thing one" and "thing two" puppets after reading "The Cat in The Hat". On Friday, we will be having a birthday party with a huge Dr. Seuss cake to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. I feel like a kid again!
