This past weekend I went with one of my colleagues to Moganshan Lu, the popular art district in Shanghai. I almost felt like I was at Open Studios in Bushwick (Brooklyn)! There was a long strip of graffiti that artists could add to however they desired and open galleries. All of the galleries displayed work by Chinese artists, so unfortunately I could not find any opportunities for my mom in any of the gallery spaces, but I tried!
