Who knew there was a zoo within .5 miles of my dorm?! The Shenzhen Safari Park is located about a 10 minute walk from my dorm. I have yet to go inside, but I am usually hesitant to go to zoos in China due to the often poor conditions and treatment of the animals (usually many chains and cages). I will give it a try though, since it's right around the corner. I will let you know how it goes - stay tuned!
