Welcome to my cafeteria

I thought I would also bring you along on my dinner routine at one of the cafeterias. There are two cafeterias, a Hong Kong Bistro, a cafe, a NYPD Pizza, and a Subway all on the quad by Mirror Lake. However, I almost always go to the same downstairs cafeteria for dinner. It's the best option for a vegetarian :) It's also just about the only place I can find veggies that aren't covered in oil. It's "hot pot style", meaning I can choose any veggies I want and then they are prepared in broth (or simply water). I love it! I usually get (pictured below) lotus, carrots, eggplant, bok choy, mushrooms, fungus, squash, potatoes and tofu. Yum yum! I also get a bowl of some sort of soy sauce concoction that I like to dip the veggies in.

P.S. Below is my friend Yonathan (Yoni) from Israel. He decided to join me for dinner. Yoni says "Happy Rosh Hashanah to you all". Eat some apples and honey for us :)
